About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mendix Developer to join our team at Additive Catchments. This role is essential for developing and maintaining our suite of applications that support our environmental monitoring and data analysis initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with our project managers, data scientists, and field teams to deliver robust, user-friendly applications that drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy Mendix applications that meet the needs of our environmental monitoring projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the applications meet their needs.
  • Integration: Integrate Mendix applications with other systems and databases to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing Mendix applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Innovation: Stay current with the latest Mendix developments and best practices to continually improve our applications and processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Mendix Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Mendix, along with a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and database management.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and improving water quality in river catchments.
